About the Creator of My Perfect Library:
My name is Donna Jackson. I have been a designer and a brand manager for public libraries since 2002. I think libraries are powerful places and have the potential to change and mold the world. We are living in a time when library identity in the community is not always clear. We have the opportunity to recreate our identity and develop a focus that could change who we are and how we are used for years to come.
This site is a place for me to share what I have learned over the years as a brand manager as well as a place for me to learn from library lovers, like you, about library identity and how libraries can move forward.
I am also an artist. I think this has been a wonderful plus for me in my field. It has allowed me to bring a different perspective to brand and libraries. Please view my work at www.dmjstudio.com. I look forward to discussing library and brand with you.
